Our season has been far from faultless this term, but we’re still holding out hope. With a little under half of the campaign still to play, we’re still dreaming of a famous Scottish title win
Unfortunately, though, ahead of our next game against St Johnstone, Steven Gerrard has confirmed some bad news for the club.
SG: Defoe is a doubt, Lafferty is a doubt. Goldson is fine. Grezda is still a little bit away. Murphy has started kicking balls but he won’t be back until the last few games of the season. Dorrans has had a setback but we are not sure to the extent of it just yet.

This is obviously hugely frustrating for the Gers. Our situation is tough as it is, and the last thing we need is injury problems.
Of course, it’s frustrating that both Lafferty and Defoe may be unavailable, as we’re already short for attacking depth as it is, and this will only make our issues more significant. We’ve lacked goals, and this is going to put even further strain on that area of the pitch.
Still, hopefully, we’ll have enough to beat St. Johnstone this weekend. Our squad is full of quality, even if we are lacking much of it for the weekend tie.
Thoughts?
