England at Wembley yesterday, Scotland at Hampden today – Rangers fans are represented.

What a support, what a team.

As is often said, Rangers is more than a club.

In the case of yesterday, it was English Bears literally flying the flag for their club and country, cheering on Gareth Southgate’s men.

Scottish, British and proud is often the mantra than many Rangers supporters espouse and that manifests itself in different ways.

One of those is through different national team loyalties as is often evidenced.

For others it is Rangers and Rangers only, international football producing nothing more than indifference.

That’s just the way it is.

For the current European Championships, it is great to see Scotland, England as well as Wales represented.

It is just a pity that Northern Ireland never made the party.

Enjoy the football, the fun and the joy for what it is.

In a few weeks’ time, the real stuff begins once again – There’s not a team like the Glasgow Rangers.
