Rangers have moved to the top of the Scottish Premiership table after an impressive 2-1 win over Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday.

With Celtic not taking part in league action this weekend, it was a massive chance for Steven Gerrard’s side to show some title intent and they did just that with a hard fought victory against the Jam Tarts.

Goals from Connor Goldson and Alfredo Morelos ensured the win, with the Gers showing spirit and coming from behind to cancel out Gareth McAuley’s own goal at the other end.

With the side also going down to ten men in the second half, it was a superb win.

One of the team’s top performers was undoubtedly Goldson, who not only netted but shut Hearts down in the second half, restricting their chances and opportunities.

It was one of his best performances in a Rangers shirt to date and fans couldn’t get enough, taking to Twitter to share their joy with his display…
