Rangers winger Ryan Kent has dropped his biggest hint yet that he is happy to stay at the club beyond his current loan deal from Liverpool, as reported by The Express.

The 22-year-old has impressed supporters with some dazzling attacking performances this season, with most of the Ibrox loyal desperate to see him sign from the Anfield side on a permanent basis.

Kent believes this is the most settled he has ever been in his career and that’s a fantastic sign he is ready to commit his future to the club.

As quoted by The Express, the winger said of his Gers stay so far:

I have bought into Rangers since I got here, it is an unbelievable club and the fans are brilliant. I think with the team we have now it is a really good squad but when you are playing in those games, the big derby games, it makes you realise what a big club it is.

This is the most settled I have been at a club, I think just the way I have been welcomed into the team, the people I have got around me in regards to the coaches has made me feel really settled here.

I am enjoying my football which is the main thing, I think when you are in an environment where you are comfortable then that is when you get the best performances out of your game.

That certainly sounds like a player ready to make a big life decision to move permanently to Glasgow. It’s not often you hear that kind of passion spoken by a loan player who is not up for being a Rangers star beyond his initial deal.

With little prospect of getting into the Liverpool side anytime soon, Steven Gerrard could offer him regular first-team football and the chance to make a real name for himself while at Ibrox, all while winning trophies.

Fingers crossed the club can sort out a deal as soon as possible.
