Rangers are rumoured to be interested in signing Manchester City defender Philippe Sandler, according to RockSport journalist Bill Young.
He tweeted on Sunday night that the Gers were one of three teams interested in signing the talented 21-year-old, although City were said to be looking for assurances of playing time should he make a loan switch.
Rangers one of 3 clubs looking closely at Phillipe Sandler of Manchester City CB but City looking for assurances on game time. So says Dances with Bears, so could be a bit of a lottery this one. Expect the last Laff as I said in the next 48.

Sandler is a new arrival at the Etihad Stadium, having joined City from Eredivisie side PEC Zwolle at the end of July.
Despite that, there is little chance of him making a first-team impact in Pep Guardiola’s superstar side and a loan away from the English champions seems to be the most likely outcome for him.
Having come through Ajax’s renowned academy system, Sandler went on to make 33 appearances for Zwolle before his move to England, emerging as a regular last season.
He appears to tick the boxes as a back-up defender to Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic, with Steven Gerrard clearly still looking for a bit of depth in the position after the departures of Bruno Alves and Fabio Cardoso.
Is he a name we’ll be looking to sign in the final week of the transfer window?
