Plenty of Rangers supporters are delighted with the potential exit of Bruno Alves this summer, with the Portuguese international on the brink of a move to Italian side Parma.

The Scottish Sun reported on Thursday that the player was undergoing a medical in Italy, despite buying club Parma dealing with match fixing allegations that could see them heavily punished with points deductions or even demotion.

With one year left on his deal at Ibrox, it’s vital that the club get him off the wage bill this summer if he is not a part of Steven Gerrard’s plans.

The 36-year-old stopper arrived last summer, heralded as one of Pedro Caixinha’s big signings. Unfortunately for all concerned he did not have a great campaign, struggling with injuries and hardly playing to the highest standard when he did get a game.

Fans are delighted to potentially see the back of him, taking to Twitter this week to share their thoughts on his exit…
