Rangers winger Daniel Candeias’ performance at Ibrox today didn’t go down well with supporters, despite the team managing to emerge as 1-0 victors over Hibernian.

Steven Gerrard’s side have now won five consecutive matches, with some of the players showing real promise ahead of next season’s challenges.

Jermain Defoe’s goal was enough to secure the three points, rewarding the manager who decided to select him ahead of Alfredo Morelos.

One player who fans did not enjoy seeing though was Daniel Candeias, who came on at half-time as a replacement for Ryan Kent.

The Portuguese was far less of a threat than the impressive on-loan Liverpool man, slowing down our play and showing erratic decision making.

Some fans are now hoping he is set to be one of the players axed by Gerrard this summer when he rebuilds his squad.

These supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his Sunday display…
