Shrewsbury Town fans couldn’t be happier with Rangers loanee Greg Docherty right now, after he helped them to their latest League One win this weekend.
The former Hamilton man was sent to the English lower leagues by Steven Gerrard to develop his midfield game and it’s clear he is enjoying life in the third-tier.
Great effort from the boys to get the win today! Thoroughly deserved and brilliant all round performance πΊπ»@shrewsweb πΉπΈ

He’s made 16 appearances for the Shrews already this term, scoring four goals and assisting four times in the process. He’s become quite the hit and is surely causing Gerrard to sit up and take notice ahead of his return to Ibrox.
Docherty impressed some Rangers supporters with performances in the second half of last season and he is likely to get an opportunity when his season-long loan expires, if he can continue to impress in League One.
Supporters have been hugely excited about his recent displays, taking to Twitter to congratulate him for another excellent performance…
Massive win, you lads showed some fight today. Well played Greg absolute quality again π
