Dave King released a statement earlier this week via Rangers’ official website, though we had to put our legal jargon hats on to actually decipher what it meant.
It’s always big news when a statement is released from the big names running the football club, though in recent years the nature of such statements has been majorly positive.
Overall, the Gers are enjoying a fine period where finances are looking good, but King has had a bit of a personal setback where he has been ‘cold-shouldered’ by the Takeover Panel.
This relates to an offence he apparently committed in buying the club in 2015, though he says that it is down to his love of the club and that it does not effect Rangers’ finances – rather his own personal dealings.
Basically, UK financial firms are barred from working with him on other takeovers due to the steps he took to get Rangers under his guise, but that does not mean that the club is in any trouble and that’s the main thing.
Let’s look at the reaction to it all:

Dave King took a hit that basically means nothing to him and it has no effect on RIFC.

Basically hes saying everyone at the club has ZERO issues with his involvement at the club. Powers that be trying to again stir up nonsense and de-stabilize the club.
