Rangers fans are excited about the progress of youngster Zak Rudden after he scored a hat-trick for the Scotland U19s side over the weekend.
The youth team are on the verge of qualifying for the European Championships for only the second time in Scotland’s history and Rudden is at the heart of it having put Cyprus to the sword on Saturday.
Rudden also netted against Turkey last week, showing he has the potential to eventually make an impact in the Scottish Premiership if he continues progressing at a rapid rate.
Currently out on loan at Championship side Falkirk, he’s netted ten times in total and will be looking to use that senior professional experience to further his Rangers career this summer.
The 19-year-old appears to have a real eye for goal and if he can continue scoring for club and country then it won’t be long until Steven Gerrard takes notice and gives him an opportunity.
These supporters were delighted and took to Twitter to share their thoughts…
Looking forward to getting Zak Rudden back from his loan at Falkirk to see what he can offer Rangers next season. Seems like it's been a positive loan move for him. https://t.co/MXSkpbwxHX
