Rangers supporters have been left angered by referee Bobby Madden after he failed to send off Scott Brown earlier than he did during Celtic’s win over Kilmarnock on Sunday.

The Hoops captain was let off again after lunging in on an opposition player, escaping with just a yellow card for a straight leg shocker of a challenge.

He was eventually given his marching orders, but only after scoring the winner in a match that Celtic would otherwise have drawn.

It was a maddening incident for fans, especially since it is similar to the challenge that Allan McGregor has been hauled over hot coals for by the SFA over the last week.

Brown appears to be immune to punishment from authorities or criticism from the media and this time it has cost us big.

Being six points behind Brendan Rodgers side is a lot more palatable than being eight adrift and Bobby Madden has played a big role in that.
