Rangers are looking to slim down their squad for the rest of their window and the exits appear to be continuing with Jak Alnwick on his way to Blackpool.
The Gers have been very busy in this transfer window so far and it has been an exciting time watching the club bring in some very decent footballers.
The squad is big, though, and it is clear that some need to be moved on, with Football Insider reporting that the player has had a medical ahead of a loan deal with the Tangerines.
Ryan Hardie has already moved there, of course, and so there is a bit of a Rangers connection going on at Bloomfield Road right now.
Indeed, it makes sense for Alnwick to move out again given the goalkeeping options we have but I do wonder whether it would be wiser to let him leave on a permanent now that he is in his mid 20s and surely wanting to settle somewhere.
