Steven Gerrard’s former club Liverpool are set to let ten players leave Anfield this summer, but Dominic Solanke isn’t on the list of potential exits reported by The Daily Mail.

Players such as Loris Karius, Danny Ings and Divock Origi are all expected to leave the Reds according to the paper, as the club look to raise a mammoth £100m in player sales.

However, Dominic Solanke looks like he will be staying at the club, not featuring on the list of potential exits. Rangers were linked with a move for the player on a loan basis earlier this summer, as reported by The Sun.

The striker scored his first goal for the club on the final day of the English Premier League season in May after a long season of mainly substitute appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s team.

Signing him, even on a loan, was always a long shot given his continued inclusion in Klopp’s first team squads. It would now be a surprise if he goes anywhere this summer, unless Liverpool end up signing another striker.

One player that could still arrive at Ibrox from Anfield is Ben Woodburn, with The Mail’s report confirming that he will be allowed to leave the club on a temporary basis for the coming season, although sides like Sheffield United and Norwich City are keen on signing the player.

Can Gerrard use his Liverpool connections to great effect one more time this summer?
