Rangers have confirmed that talented young duo Stephen Kelly and Matthew Shiels have now signed new contract extensions at the club keeping them both with us until the summer of 2021.
????️ Craig Mulholland: "There has probably never been a more exciting time to be a young Rangers player in terms of opportunity, and I am sure these guys will grab that opportunity over the next few years."

The 18-year-old pair have been in our youth setup for a while and have been rewarded for the progress that they have made in terms of their development over the past few seasons with the new deal. They also took full advantage of the experience that could be taken from our Games Programme in 2017/18 where our youngsters tested themselves against some of the best and the brightest from some of Europe’s top Academy sides to bring them on further, and give them a different test from what they’d face going up against similar age setups in Scotland.
Both are youth internationals and Kelly has of course been training pretty regularly with Steven Gerrard’s first team and has been included in a few match day squads to give him a taste given how well he’s thought of by our management and coaching staff.
Well done boys ????????????

Kelly is a midfielder and Shiels a fullback as they continue taking steps towards what everyone hopes will be productive futures in the game, with us.
